The Royal Family are prepared to delete Prince Harry and Meghan’s Sussex titles if they deliver any further harmful details about the monarchy, an insider asks.
Prince Harry and former Suits star Meghan Markle got married in 2018 after they began dating two years prior.
In January 2020, they resigned as senior Royals before moving to Southern California but have maintained their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Since then, the couple have leaked a number of tragedy claims about how they were allegedly lived by both the Royal family and palace staff.
In a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan her shared about her treatment following her wedding to Harry and told the presenter that she ‘didn’t want to be alive anymore’.
She also declared her pleas for help were neglected.
And, Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare shared detailed the realtionships between himself, his brother and their respective wives, including an infamous argument in the build-up to his and Meghan’s wedding that left his wife-to-be ‘sobbing on the floor.’
While it would take an Act of Parliament to delete the titles, the source recorded the Daily Mail that the Royal family is planned to permit their removal if they feel it is appropriate.
Speaking to actress Mindy Kaling, the 43-year-old added: “It’s so funny you keep saying Meghan Markle. You know I’m ‘Sussex’ now,” before going on to explain its significance.
“I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me, but it just means so much to go, ‘This is our family name. Our little family name,'” she said.
Meghan had previously told People that it became more crucial to her after becoming a mother, sharing: “It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t recognised how meaningful that would be to me until we had children.”
One person commented: “Her name is NOT Meghan Sussex. Her name is technically Rachel Mountbatten-Windsor. Sussex is a county in England & part of a courtesy title – NOT her last name.”
The Duchess of Sussex was born Rachel Meghan Markle.
And another added: “Meghan Markle married Henry Mountbatten Windsor not Harry Sussex! She’s a delusional woman.”
