Lisa Marie Presley and her father recorded a touching duet 40 years after their passing.
Elvis Presley and his daughter Lisa Marie Presley performed the duet “Where No One Stands Alone,” which had recently been released.
The title track is part of the 2018 Elvis compilation, which has newly recorded instrumentation and backing vocals matched to historic Elvis vocal recordings from his gospel albums How Great Thou Art and He Touched Me.
Lisa Marie passed away suddenly in 2023, when she was 54 years old.
Lisa Marie told ITV’s Lorraine about her experience writing the song, “I just felt really emotional,” when it was released. A good cry while singing is never enjoyable.
“I mustered up the courage to remain calm, yet I sensed an intense bond with both him and the melody.”
