A retired Marine Corps Sergeant decided to trade the battlefield for the classroom and became a high school teacher.
Just before the school year began, he injured his back and had to wear a plaster body cast beneath his shirt.
The students had no idea.
On his very first day, he was assigned the wildest class in the entire school—the one famous for making new teachers quit before lunch.
The moment he walked in, the room erupted with chatter, paper airplanes, and laughter.
The students had already heard he was an ex-Marine…
And they couldn’t wait to test him.
Without saying a word, the Sergeant calmly walked to the window and opened it.
A cool breeze drifted through the room…
Blowing his necktie over his shoulder.
Still completely expressionless, he reached into his desk drawer…
Picked up a stapler…
Lined up his tie…
And stapled it straight to his chest.
THUNK.
Not a flinch.
Not a blink.
The classroom froze.
One student whispered,
“…Did he just staple himself?”
Another quietly replied,
“I’m doing every homework assignment this year.”
From that day on…
Nobody talked back. Nobody acted up. And somehow… everyone passed the class with perfect behavior. 😂
