The Teacher Told the Class to Paint a Meadow. Little Johnny’s Blank Canvas Left Her Speechless.
The elementary school art teacher walked down the aisles, instructing her class to paint a beautiful picture of cows grazing peacefully in a lush green meadow.
Within less than two minutes, Little Johnny proudly raised his hand. “Teacher! I’m completely finished!”
The teacher walked over to his desk, expecting a messy scribble. Instead, she found herself staring at a completely blank, stark white sheet of paper.
She frowned, looking at the boy. “But Johnny, you didn’t paint anything on this paper at all.”
“Oh, yes I did,” Johnny replied with absolute confidence.
“Well, then where is the grass?” the teacher asked, raising an eyebrow.
“The cows ate all of it,” Johnny explained.
The teacher smiled patiently, trying to catch him in his own logic. “Alright… then where are the cows?”
Johnny looked at her like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Well, since there wasn’t any grass left, they left!”
