A teenager walked into an electronics store with his mom.
While she wandered around looking at kitchen appliances, the kid noticed a brand-new digital smart scale on display.
The salesman smiled proudly and said,
“This is our newest model. It can calculate body weight, BMI, heart rate, and even recognize different users automatically.”
The kid laughed.
“No way. My mom would probably break it.”
His mother shot him a dirty look.
“Oh please,” she snapped. “I am NOT that heavy.”
The salesman, trying to save the situation, quickly said,
“Ma’am, this scale is built with the latest technology. It can handle anything.”
She crossed her arms.
“Fine. Prove it.”
So everyone gathered around as she stepped onto the scale.
For a second…
nothing happened.
Then the screen flickered.
The lights dimmed slightly.
Somewhere in the store, a microwave started beeping for no reason.
The salesman looked nervous.
Then finally, the scale beeped loudly and displayed:
“ONE AT A TIME PLEASE.”
The entire store burst out laughing.
But the scale wasn’t done yet.
A second message popped up:
“I need your weight…
not your phone number.” 💀😂
