A second-grade boy hopped into a taxi after school one afternoon.
As soon as the cab started moving, the little boy began singing loudly from the back seat:
“If my father was a king,
my mother would be a queen,
and I would be a prince!”
The taxi driver smiled at first, but after hearing the song repeated several times, he was already getting annoyed.
A moment later, the boy started singing again:
“If my father was the president,
my mother would be the First Lady,
and I would be the First Son!”
Now the driver had completely lost his patience.
He turned around angrily and snapped:
“Alright smart kid… what if your father was a robber?
What would your mother be, and what would YOU be?”
Without missing a beat, the little boy replied:
“If my father was a robber,
my mother would be a pr*st*tute…
and I’d be a taxi driver.”
