I always visit the same flower shop. One day, the cashier smiled as she said, “You’re in here buying flowers every week. Your wife is so lucky.” The truth is that I don’t have a wife or girlfriend. I grinned and explained, “Actually, the flowers are for my daughter. She’s the only woman in my life.” I understand that it may appear unusual, but my daughter adores flowers, and I only want to provide her with some joy.

My mother used to work as a maid while studying for her degree. After finishing her work, she would sit in the kitchen and study.
One day, she fell asleep at the table, and her supervisor noticed.
The lady was so enraged that she woke her up and asked, “How dare you not tell me what you were doing? I want you to pay for your education without sneaking around to study on the job. From now on, I will reduce your work hours to part-time, but still pay you a full month’s salary.”
